Celebrating Entrepreneurs, And Milestones, At Ey Eoy

EY's Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) program is an annual celebration of the industrious and imaginative individuals who launch and build businesses that enrich communities. CincyTech is a proud sponsor of the Ohio Valley regional program, one of 25 in the US and more worldwide.  

Like our partners at EY, we love entrepreneurs and the energy they bring to the world.  Supporting entrepreneurs in Southwest Ohio has been at the heart of our mission since we began investing seed capital into companies in 2007. A decade later, we were delighted to hear the names of entrepreneurs from two portfolio companies announced as winners at EY's 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Gala.  

Gina Drosos, president of Assurex Health won in the Specialty Health Care Services category.  Rodney Williams, CEO and Eric Allen, president of LISNR won in the Connected World Communications category.  They now advance to the national competition, which will announce winners later this year.

Three new portfolio companies, ActionStreamer, Astronomer and Virtual Education Systems received E.D.G.E.awards for emerging companies. It is incredibly rewarding to see two companies which we've helped to grow achieve this level of recognition, and to work with new companies that hold great promise to make the world better.
