CincyTech today announced that Stacey Barnes, a 7-year-veteran of the organization, has been promoted to Senior Business Operations Manager at the Cincinnati-based venture capital firm.

Barnes’ promotion reflects her strong work ethic, integrity and leadership in the organization, said CincyTech Partner Ashley Keating.

“Stacey’s role at CincyTech straddles many areas, from leading state compliance reporting to ensuring the seamless operation of our digital infrastructure,” Keating said. “Her contributions make her an invaluable asset.”

Prior to joining CincyTech in 2016,  Barnes worked at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, worked for a Cincinnati City Councilmember and spent years on an effort to bring the 2012 Olympics to Cincinnati. She was also a member of the U.S. Army Reserve, 83rd ARCOM, based in Kings Mills, Ohio.

Barnes holds a journalism degree from Northern Kentucky University.
