CincyTech Startup CEO's Named "People To Watch"
At CincyTech, we typically measure impact in metrics, for example the number of companies in which we've invested (60), the number of jobs (789) those companies have created and retained, and the co- and follow-on investment ($506M) they've raised.
An indication of a different type of community impact came in the Cincinnati Enquirer's
"16 for 2016: The people who will shape our new year."
Two of those 16 are portfolio company CEO's. Rodney Williams, whose startup LISNR received investment from Intel Capital and was recognized at the inaugural White House Demo Day, provided this quote: "I represent a shift in thinking and leadership, a generational voice with a natural objection to the status quo."
CEO Gina Drosos looks forward to continued growth of the precision medicine company, saying, "I've always been inspired by the opportunity to drive change and improve people's lives-to change paradigms and find new and better ways of doing things."
We're pleased to point out the list of 16 also includes Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber President and CEO Jill Meyer, who sits on the CincyTech Board of Managers.
