ConnXus founder and CEO Rod Robinson was a panelist as AOL honored Black History Month in New York City with a discussion titled, "Black Tech Leaders: Past, Present and Future."

Robinson shared the stage with Tech Inclusion co-founder Wayne Sutton, Collective Mobile CEO Sian Marson, Cofound Harlem's John Henry, STEMboard CEO Aisha Bowe and Topik founder Kevin Hagens.

ConnXus helps Fortune 1000 companies diversify their supply chain by connecting them with woman- and minority-owned small businesses.  Robinson said his clients and other corporations have come to view a diverse supply chain as a strategic imperative, and a way to gain relevant insights.

Robinson also spoke about this realization he had as he was launching ConnXus: "I had early investors, advisors, and supporters who are still mentors today who didn't look like me, and they totally get it, and are committed to seeing people of color succeed in entrepreneurship."Watch the full discussion here.
