Ashley Keating

Ashley Keating is a Partner at CincyTech leading the sponsorship of new investments, focusing on raising capital and driving deal flow strategy. In addition to this, she oversees marketing and communications efforts.  Prior to becoming Partner, Ashley was the CFO of CincyTech for six years and led the build-out of our existing infrastructure and operating platform. She has helped to form and manage more than 8 funds, including main funds and special purpose vehicles.

Before joining CincyTech in 2016, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for ten years taking her from Cincinnati to New York and then to London where she worked in the Transaction Services practice - advising public companies, other strategics and private equity firms on M&A due diligence (both buy-side and sell-side) and post-merger integrations.  Her experiences ranged from managing sell-side diligence for a large pharmaceutical company on the sale of an $11 billion over-the-counter business, to working with a founder and his management team to prepare their privately-held business for sale to an international strategic.  She also spent a year managing a smaller, domestic-only public company through the financial integration of a newly-acquired business with an international footprint.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Abre (since 2021) and Medpace (NASDAQ: MEDP) (since 2019), holds her CPA in Ohio, and was named to Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 in 2021.

Ashley loves all things active and enjoys good competition. From hiking, golfing, and coaching basketball to traveling to new places and sharing new experiences with her family - she’s always up for a new challenge or adventure. She equates her competitive Division I collegiate golf days to a founder competing against a market - you cannot easily change the course (market), especially at first, but you find ways to play the course and then make it work for you.  And when you have a bad day, you’re back out there the next day trying to do it better.  If you get to know Ashley and some of her stories, you’ll learn why her life experiences have taught her gratitude, humor, and most importantly, resilience.
